Fort Reno gears up for Halloween with ghost tour | Events

A local fort will be gearing up for Halloween with a ghost tour this weekend.

A ghost tour at El Reno's historic Fort Reno will give guests the chance to see some paranormal activity for themselves.

Guests will take a walking tour of the historic area and listen as guides provide information on the fort's haunted past.

A local paranormal investigation team will discuss activity like footsteps, doors mysteriously opening and cold spots.

The fort began as a military camp in the 1800s and played a role in the Land Run of 1889, along with being a historic location for German POWs during World War II.

The tour will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2012, beginning at 7:30 p.m.
